The City of Toronto is working with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines with almost 50 vaccination clinics operating this weekend. To date, 1,649,278 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto.

The Team Toronto effort is focused on getting as many residents vaccinated as quickly as possible based on available supply. It is also expanding mobile vaccination efforts across Toronto to bring vaccine to the neighbourhoods most in need.

This weekend, Team Toronto Mobile Sprint Strategy will vaccinate 19,994 people age 18 years and older at the following pop-up clinics:

  • Aga Khan Museum (M4H, M3C)
  • Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute (M1M, M1L, M1K, M1J)
  • Brookside Public School (All Scarborough Hot Spots)
  • Burrows Hall Junior Public School (M1B, M1X)
  • Canadian Centre for Refugee and Immigrant Healthcare (M1P, M1W, M1M, M1S, M1T)
  • Gursikh Sabha Canada (M1V)
  • Toronto Zoo (All Scarborough Hot Spots)
  • Thorncliffe Park Community Hub (M4H, M3C, M3A)

As of yesterday evening, approximately 659,315 people have booked COVID-19 vaccination appointments at a City-run clinic. Appointments at City-operated immunization clinics are available through the Province’s online booking system. Eligible residents are encouraged to book an appointment by clicking the blue “Book a Vaccine” button at www.toronto.ca/covid-19 or through phone by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900. The City and healthcare partners are working to operate a total of approximately 48 clinics this weekend, including mobile teams and on-site clinics, to vaccinate priority groups identified by the Province of Ontario’s priority framework.

City of Toronto immunization clinics

  • Yesterday, held nine City-operated immunization clinics: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto Congress Centre, Scarborough Town Centre, Malvern Community Recreation Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, The Hangar, Cloverdale Mall, North Toronto Memorial Community Centre and Carmine Stefano Community Centre.
  • Vaccinated approximately 14,130 eligible residents.
  • Over the weekend, will vaccinate approximately 28,773 people born in 1971 or earlier and people age 18 or older who live in hot spot neighbourhoods as identified by postal code. People without appointments should not attend a City-run immunization clinic.

Unity Health Toronto, Downtown East Toronto OHT and West Toronto OHT

  • Yesterday, held two on-site clinics, two pop-up clinics, and one mobile clinic.
  • Vaccinated 2,252 people who are age 18 and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, priority hospital and community-based healthcare workers, select inpatients, homebound adults, individuals living in congregate settings, members of the Indigenous community, shelter staff, transplant recipients and those receiving active cancer treatment and individuals with specific high-risk health conditions.
  • Over the weekend, will hold two on-site clinics and three off-site clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 2,266 people belonging to the same groups.

University Health Network

  • Yesterday, held three on-site clinics and one mobile clinic.
  • Vaccinated 2,271 people who are priority hospital and community-based healthcare workers, essential care givers, patients with priority health conditions, adults age 40 and older, Indigenous people and people living in shelters.
  • Over the weekend, will hold three on-site clinics and one mobile clinic.
  • Will vaccinate 3,568 people in the same groups above.

Michael Garron Hospital – East Toronto Health Partners

  • Yesterday, held one on-site clinic, two primary care clinics, three pop-up clinics and one mobile clinic.
  • Vaccinated 5,825 people who are age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, adults age 40 and older, Indigenous people, individuals with highest and high-risk conditions, people living in shelters, individuals who receive home care, and people who cannot work from home.
  • Over the weekend, will hold one on-site clinic, two pop-up clinics and one primary care clinic.
  • Will vaccinate 5,621 people in the same groups above.

  • Yesterday, held one mobile clinic.
  • Vaccinated 2,000 people who are age 18 years and older living in a hot spot area.
  • Over the weekend, will hold three mobile clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 4,300 people belonging to the same group, plus transportation workers who work in Toronto.

  • Yesterday, held five on-site clinics, two pop-up clinics and one mobile clinic.
  • Vaccinated 7,750 people who are age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, hospital workers and patients, and individuals living in a shelter.
  • Over the weekend, will hold five on-site clinics, two pop-up clinics and one mobile clinic.
  • Will vaccinate approximately 8,000 people who are age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, people living in congregate care settings, and people living in shelters.

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

  • Yesterday, held one on-site clinic and one off-site community clinic in partnership with Baycrest, and one pop-up clinic.
  • Vaccinated 1,500 people who are residents age 40 years and older, Indigenous adults, adults who receive home care, healthcare workers, hospital staff, people with highest and high-risk conditions and their caregivers, people who live or work in high-risk congregate settings, pregnant people, people age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods, and people who cannot work from home.
  • Over the weekend, will hold one on-site clinic and one off-site clinic in partnership with Baycrest.
  • Will vaccinate approximately 2,500 people belonging to the same groups above.

  • Yesterday, held one pop-up clinic, and one mobile clinics.
  • Vaccinated 2,500 people who are 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods.
  • Over the weekend, will hold two pop-up clinics and one mobile clinic.
  • Will vaccinate 2,500 people belonging to the same group.

  • Vaccinated 1,200 people who are age 18 years and older living in hot spot neighbourhoods.

  • Will vaccinate 1,500 people belonging to the same group.

The City, Toronto Public Health, hospitals and community healthcare centres are all working together to get Torontonians vaccinated as quickly as possible. Getting vaccinated protects individuals, their close contacts and the community. As vaccine supply for the general population becomes widely available from the Government of Canada and the Province, more than 350 clinics, including pharmacies and mobile clinics across Toronto, will vaccinate people following the priority framework established by the Province.
