Volunteers must be available for a minimum of eight shifts from June 11 to 19, 2026.
You need to be 18 years old when you submit your application.
You must comply with Canadian border entry requirements.
Speaking English is necessary; additional languages are a bonus.
Attend a volunteer team tryout and complete any associated training.
Agree to and pass a background check. Associated costs will be covered.
The following roles may be active as early as mid-October 2025.
Accreditation volunteers ensure all non-ticketed stakeholders — such as staff, players, media and volunteers — receive their accreditation passes by verifying their information and distributing passes.
Volunteers support Meet and Greet services, receiving VIPs and team services from the arrival hall to vehicles. They assist clients and the public at welcome desks and direct them to the load zones.
Ceremonies volunteers support cast and client group experiences through friendly assistance. They may also assist with pre-ceremony activities, such as handling and displaying banners and central displays before a match.
Team Services volunteers enhance the experience for teams and tournament officials at training camps, hotels and match venues by offering a friendly, supportive presence.
Volunteers assist the Uniform Team in distributing uniform kits to various client groups.
The following roles will be active from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
Access Management volunteers improve the client group experience by providing professional, friendly assistance in support of access-related tournament activities.
Volunteers greet guests upon arrival and departure from FIFA World Cup 26™ manned areas. They assist with wayfinding and share relevant materials like maps and schedules and may also prepare gift bags or arrival envelopes.
Anti-doping chaperones inform athletes of doping control selections, escort them to the doping room and assist the FIFA Doping Control Officer with room setup and logistics.
Volunteers act as the “eyes and ears” on matchdays, reporting ambush marketing and the sale of counterfeit products in stadium areas to the Brand Protection Team.
Match Operations volunteers assist with matchday activities, providing welcoming and helpful support to teams and officials.
Transport volunteers support FIFA’s transport operations, assisting with shuttles, parking, and arrival and departure logistics at airports, hotels and stadiums.
Last Mile volunteers greet and guide spectators on matchdays to ensure a welcoming atmosphere and memorable experience.
Volunteers welcome guests at airports and guide them to various areas to support an exceptional tournament experience.
Hospitality volunteers support premium guest experiences, offering assistance and a warm welcome across hospitality areas.
Volunteers support interpretation for press conferences, distribute and collect interpretation equipment and offer on-call liaison interpretation services, including for match coordination and stadium orientation.
Volunteers support sponsors in executing activations and assist with youth program activities.
Volunteers assist journalists in covering the competition and play a key role in bringing the tournament to global audiences.
Volunteers promote respectful behaviour and recycling to help foster a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.
Volunteers assist ticketing staff by welcoming attendees and answering fan questions to ensure an enjoyable experience.
