Now that summer is here, Toronto Public Health (TPH) invites media to get a closer look at how TPH’s SwimSafe program helps keep Toronto’s pools and spas, wading pools and splash pads safe for residents and visitors all summer long.

9 a.m. Opening remarks by Dr. Eileen de Villa, Toronto’s Medical Officer of Health and general remarks by Dr. Christine Navarro, Associate Medical Officer of Health
9:10 a.m. Inspection walk-through
Location: Sunnyside Gus Ryder Outdoor Pool, 1755 Lake Shore Blvd W.

Note: Due to technical limitations of the location, a City media feed and amplification will not be available. Microphones and recording equipment can be placed directly on the lectern.
