The City of Toronto reminds residents that routine enforcement of residential on-street permit parking resumes Monday, June 21 at 12:01 a.m.
The City encourages residents who require residential on-street parking, and who do not have a valid on-street parking permit, to apply for a new permit as soon as possible. While the spring parking permit renewal period is now closed, residents without a valid permit can apply for a new residential on-street parking permit by calling the Permit Parking office at 416-392-7873 or, for questions and inquiries, email permit.parking@toronto.ca. In-person services remain unavailable during the COVID-19 response. Virtual office hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Permit Parking applications can only be processed via telephone.

Toronto residents planning to apply for a new permit this week are asked to be patient, as parking office staff work to process as many requested permits as quickly as possible. It can take from five to 10 business days for residents to receive a new parking permit by mail once the City accepts the application.
Toronto Police Service announced on June 11 that routine enforcement of on-street parking regulations would resume Monday, June 14 at 12:01 a.m., including overtime violations such as three-hour bylaw and posted time limits, residential change-over parking regulations, and on-street pay and display violations.
