Shelter Management Information System (Toronto SMIS)
    logo

Toronto SMIS is operating in all of Toronto’s 57 emergency shelters. The web-based system helps shelter staff provide improved client service while delivering the real-time data that enhances the City's ability to manage Toronto's emergency shelter system.

SMIS simplifies emergency shelter operations by eliminating time-consuming manual tasks and paper forms (pinks), improving client services, and strengthening the shelter system as a whole. Shelter staff can now quickly find available beds throughout the system and speed up client intake, admission and discharge.

If you are currently using SMIS and would like more information, please visit Information for SMIS Users.
