Services within the City of Toronto.
Survey & Utility Mapping provides relevant, timely and efficient professional surveying and utility mapping products, services and support. Utility mapping products, street naming and municipal numbering services are available to the public.
These products and services support many of the engineering, design, construction and maintenance activities; legal and real estate activities; and other land-related activities that occur throughout the City of Toronto. Control Surveys support for Integrated Surveys in Toronto
On October 6th, 2010, the Control Surveys Branch of Survey and Mapping completed a report to assist City Survey staff and Private Surveyors with integrating their surveys in compliance with Ontario Regulation 216/10 under the Surveyors Act. The Report defines the Control available in NAD’83 CSRS, available data and applications to support integration. Download the PDF version of the report.

Number size plays a key role in making sure your address can be clearly seen from the road. That’s why the City of Toronto has adopted Municipal Code, Chapter 598 - Numbering of Properties to ensure that all businesses and residences can be seen and found in Toronto.
