Access, Equity & Human Rights
The Access, Equity and Human Rights (AEHR) Investment Program provides short-term funding to community-based projects that act on human rights, accessibility, equity, discrimination and hate crime concerns in their neighbourhoods and communities. By providing funding to community-based groups the City is able to promote access, equity and respect for human rights in more ways than it would be able to accomplish on its own.

Arts, culture, and heritage
Culture Build Investment Program
Culture Build provides matching funds for major repairs, renovations or improvements to buildings that will bring the facilities into a state of good repair. Priority is given to applications from not-for-profit organizations that lease or own small to medium-sized performing arts facilities (i.e. 500 seats or less).
Toronto Arts Council
Through the Toronto Arts Council, grants are provided to organizations and collectives for the presentation of art, and to individual artists for the creation of art.

Toronto Heritage Grant Program
The Toronto Heritage Grant Program provides matching grant funds for eligible conservation work in each of the two project categories: 1) residential house form buildings, and 2) commercial, institutional, multi-residential and industrial form buildings.

Business
Commercial Façade Improvement Program
The Façade Improvement Program is administered by Economic Development and provides funding to private property owners to redesign, renovate or restore commercial or industrial building facades. Eligible improvements include, but are not limited to, brick cleaning, restoration, wheelchair accessibility, doors, signage, windows, lighting and masonry.

Business associations, including community groups that include strong business participation, can receive one-time funding for street banners or wall mural projects that help promote a local theme and facilitate commercial neighbourhood identity.

Community Festivals & Special Events
The Community Festivals & Special Events (CFSE) Investment Program provides seed or developmental funding to help small festivals and events start, grow and increase their effectiveness while encouraging organizers to work towards self-sustainability for their community events.

Community Recreation Investment Funding Program
Community Recreation provides short-terms grants to projects that help to increase participation in recreation activities that support social and physical development.

Community Services
Community Safety Investment (CSI) program
The Community Safety Investment (CSI) program provides short term funding of 1-3 years for outcome focused activities that build community capacity for violence prevention and increase safety for the most vulnerable groups in Toronto.
Community Service Partnerships (CSP) program
The Community Service Partnerships (CSP) program, formerly the Community Services Grants Program (CSGP), facilitates access to services that improve social outcomes for vulnerable, marginalized and high-risk communities.

The Identify 'N Impact (INI) Investment program supports and encourages the valuable contributions young people make to their communities. It helps youth turn ideas into action and funds projects that will increase youth involvement in priority neighbourhoods.

Health and environment
Live Green Toronto Grants Program
The Live Green Toronto Program is providing human and financial resources to strengthen and enhance the ability of Toronto's neighbourhoods and community groups to undertake collective action on climate change, clean air and sustainable energy use. AIDS Prevention Grants
Support targeted projects to influence behaviours and situations that put people at risk of acquiring HIV/AIDS.

Toronto Atmospheric Fund
Offers grant funding and loans for projects in the community which reduce greenhouse gas emissions and/or improve air quality. Proposals accepted in the areas of transportation, renewable energy, energy efficiency, education, and adaptation.

Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation Community Grants
The Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation is a not-for-profit organization working in partnership with the City of Toronto's Parks and Recreation division to enhance the public park system. The foundation, formed in June 2002, raises private funds to help improve and create parks; offers recreational, horticultural, cultural and environmental programs; and supports and encourages community initiatives in Toronto parkland.

Housing
City of Toronto Homeless Initiatives Fund (CT-HIF)
Funding for non-profit community based organizations to deliver projects that directly assist people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to move from streets to shelter and then on to secure permanent housing. Eligible projects fall within the following sectors of service: drop-ins, housing help and street outreach.

StreetARToronto
StreetARToronto or StART (formally known as the Graffiti Transformation Program) is a new, pro-active program originating out of the Graffiti Management Plan and administered by the Public Realm Section of the Transportation Services Division. Our overall mission is to counteract graffiti vandalism by developing, supporting, promoting and increasing awareness of street art and its indispensable role to add beauty and character to neighbourhoods across the city.
