Access and Equity Grants
The Access and Equity Grants Program provides a mechanism to maintain a positive race relations climate and to promote respect and value for Toronto's multicultural and multiracial character. It is also a tool by which the City can support strategic partnerships and networks with community based organizations to foster social, economic and civic participation.

Arts, culture, and heritage

Toronto Arts Council
Through the Toronto Arts Council, grants are provided to organizations and collectives for the presentation of art, and to individual artists for the creation of art.

Toronto Heritage Grant Program
The Toronto Heritage Grant Program provides matching grant funds for eligible conservation work in each of the two project categories: 1) residential house form buildings, and 2) commercial, institutional, multi-residential and industrial form buildings.

Culture Build Grants Program
The Culture Build Grants Program, administered through Toronto Culture provides matching funding to Toronto's small and medium-sized cultural facilities to make essential repairs to the facilities' physical infrastructures. Funding is available for major repairs, renovations or improvements to buildings that will bring the facilities into a state of good repair.

The Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy program can help you lower your home's flooding risk.

Business

Commercial Façade Improvement Program
The Façade Improvement Program is administered by Economic Development and provides funding to private property owners to redesign, renovate or restore commercial or industrial building facades. Eligible improvements include, but are not limited to, brick cleaning, restoration, wheelchair accessibility, doors, signage, windows, lighting and masonry.

Competitiveness, Creativity and Collaboration (CCC) Investment Program
The CCC Investment Program provides support to non-profit business organizations and is designed to stimulate economic growth. Grants of up to $50,000 will be provided to programs that will generate jobs, increase economic activity and attract new investment.

The program is available to incorporated non-profit organizations or associations with projects that will be delivered within the City of Toronto's boundaries. To be considered for funding, interested organizations must submit a formal proposal and application. Mural Program
Business associations, including community groups that include strong business participation, can receive one-time funding for street banners or wall mural projects that help promote a local theme and facilitate commercial neighbourhood identity.

Community Safety Investments program
Community Safety Investments (CSI) program, is part of the City of Toronto investment program. CSI provides short term funding of 1-3 years for outcome focused activities that build community capacity for violence prevention and increase safety for the most vulnerable groups in Toronto.

Community Service Partnerships (CSP) program
The Community Service Partnerships (CSP) program, formerly the Community Services Grants Program (CSGP), facilitates access to services that improve social outcomes for vulnerable, marginalized and high-risk communities.

Food Security Investment Program (FSIP)
The Food Security Investment Program is of interest to the not-for-profit and human services sector. FSIP is to establish a stable food security sector through the provision of ongoing program funding and capacity building support to high needs and under-served communities.

The Identify 'N Impact (INI) Investment Fund supports and encourages the valuable contributions young people make to their communities. It helps youth turn ideas into action and funds projects that will increase youth involvement in priority neighbourhoods.

Live Green Toronto Grants Program
The Live Green Toronto Program is providing human and financial resources to strengthen and enhance the ability of Toronto's neighbourhoods and community groups to undertake collective action on climate change, clean air and sustainable energy use. AIDS Prevention Grants
Support targeted projects to influence behaviours and situations that put people at risk of acquiring HIV/AIDS.

Drug Prevention Grants Program
Builds community capacity for local initiatives in drug prevention, through a focus on young people at risk.

Toronto Atmospheric Fund
Offers grant funding and loans for projects in the community which reduce greenhouse gas emissions and/or improve air quality. Proposals accepted in the areas of transportation, renewable energy, energy efficiency, education, and adaptation.

Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation Community Grants
The Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation is a not-for-profit organization working in partnership with the City of Toronto's Parks and Recreation division to enhance the public park system. The foundation, formed in June 2002, raises private funds to help improve and create parks; offers recreational, horticultural, cultural and environmental programs; and supports and encourages community initiatives in Toronto parkland.

Housing

City of Toronto Homeless Initiatives Fund (CT-HIF)
Funding for non-profit community based organizations to deliver projects that directly assist people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to move from streets to shelter and then on to secure permanent housing. Eligible projects fall within the following sectors of service: drop-ins, housing help and street outreach.
