and backwater valve permits online, in addition to the existing Express Services available online.
2024 Ontario Building Code transition: Effective Jan 1, 2025, Ontario is adopting the new 2024 Ontario Building Code. Transition Rules and Requirements apply to permit applications which are issued after Jan 1 2025.
Permit Fee Changes: As per the legislative requirement to process applications within 48 hours of receiving an application, applications submitted on December 30th and 31st may be processed after January 1st, 2025 and subject to 2025 fees.
