The Toronto Local Appeal Body received the Toronto Local Appeal Body’s Rules of Practice and Procedure (draft version) as information.
The Toronto Local Appeal Body directed Duxbury Law Trial & Tribunal Lawyers to change wording of Rule 27.5 to:
“No person shall take or attempt to take a photograph, motion picture, video recording, or other recording capable of producing visual or auditory representations by electronic means, or otherwise, at any proceeding of the Local Appeal Body, unless the presiding member authorizes such recording.”
The Toronto Local Appeal Body directed Duxbury Law Trial & Tribunal Lawyers to draft a summary statement of the Toronto Local Appeal Body’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.
Decision Advice and Other Information
Brian Duxbury and David T. Marshall of Duxbury Law Trial & Tribunal Lawyers, presented the Toronto Local Appeal Body Panel Members the Toronto Local Appeal Body’s Rules of Practice and Procedure (draft version).
Each rule was presented individually with background information and key points highlighted when appropriated.
The Toronto Local Appeal Body Panel members reviewed each rule and sought clarification when necessary and provided comments as required.
Based on the comments and suggestions of the Panel Members, Duxbury Law Trial & Tribunal Lawyers, will revise the draft Rules of Practice and Procedure.
