* * Toronto Employment Survey
The 2008 employment survey is here! City Planning monitors the Toronto's employment by conducting an annual survey of businesses. The results provide essential background information for forecasting and planning infrastructure and services.
Development Application Status
You can search for active Development Projects or individual Planning Applications by Ward, District, Address and Application Number back to January 1, 2006. A search by Development Projects will show the details of the various applications on a given site. A search by individual Planning Applications will show details for every active application.
How Does The City Grow?
The Toronto Profile bulletin How Does The City Grow? answers its own question, providing an overview of where and how the City is growing since Council's adoption of the Official Plan in November 2002.
Toronto demographics portal
Contains updated demographic information and links to economic indicators, Census Canada data, population projections, facts on seniors, children, families, ethno-racial diversity and immigration.
Neighbourhood profiles
Neighbourhood profiles containing detailed demographic information, are now available online. These profiles, based on information contained in the 2001 Census, have been prepared by staff in the City's Community and Neighbourhood Services Department with assistance from Toronto Public Health.
