  Toronto celebrates Black History Month

This poster series was started approximately 15 years ago. Focussing on the fact that black history is everyone's history 365 days a year, the posters send a message about sickle cell, the importance of blood donations and bone marrow transplants within the black community and encourage members of the community to take leadership roles in this endeavour. The posters are distributed free to all libraries, community centres, Toronto District School Boards and Toronto Catholic District Schools Boards so that every child understands the contribution that the black community has made to this great city.

This year's poster is available for $10 (shipping and handling extra) by calling 905-474-8054.
