On May 27, 2020, the Toronto Licensing Tribunal issued two new Practice Directions on Electronic Hearings and Written Hearings. Hearings will be held in accordance with the Tribunal’s Rules of Procedure and will be conducted via electronic connection. Hearing will take place weekly on Thursdays starting at 9:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. as scheduled. Requests for an in person hearing can be made by contacting the Tribunal office or by sending an email to tribunalaccess@toronto.ca
In person meetings will be held in the Council Chamber at the East York Civic Centre, 850 Coxwell Ave., 2nd floor, Toronto, ON, M4C 5R1, unless otherwise noted. Hearings and Business Meetings are open to the public, pursuant to the Statutory Powers Procedure Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. S.22, s.9 (1) and in accordance with The City of Toronto Act, 2006, as amended, Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 545, 545-3 and Chapter 546, and 547 unless the Panel Chair declares the meeting or a portion of the meeting to be closed.
