Simple Steps to Leading Healthy Eating Programs Training
This training is only for individuals working at organizations in the City of Toronto. The free two-day training led by a Toronto Public Health Dietitian and Nurse covers:
- Healthy eating
- Healthy cooking methods
- Reading food labels
- Ingredient substitution
- How to run a cooking workshop
- Food safety
Who Should Attend
Agency staff working in the City of Toronto who want to gain skills to help them run a healthy eating/cooking program. Ideal for those who are currently running or plan to run a healthy eating workshop. This training is an eligibility requirement for Toronto Public Health’s Leading Healthy Eating Programs grant.
