This training is only for individuals working at community agencies that operate within the City of Toronto. The free two-day training led by a Toronto Public Health Dietitian and Nurse covers:

  • Healthy eating
  • Reading food labels
  • Healthier recipes
  • Kitchen and food safety
  • How to run a cooking workshop

Who Should Attend

Agency staff working in community agencies that operate within the City of Toronto. Ideal for those who are currently running or plan to run a healthy eating/cooking programs in their communities and want to gains skills to help them succeed. Completion of this training is an eligibility requirement when applying for the Toronto Public Health’s Leading Healthy Eating Programs grant.
